Have you had trouble with things not working properly? Weird technical glitches, misunderstandings and generally feeling like you’re running in wet sand? These things are typical effects of Mercury retrograde, and some areas are worse than others. Thankfully, Mercury retrograde is ending July 23, and I, for one, am counting the days until things straighten out! July 23 about 6 pm, it will go direct again, and then things will slowly improve until it gets to where it was before the retrograde. That usually takes about two weeks, but it’s steady improvement.
Because this retrograde was in the sign of Cancer, it may accentuate family misunderstandings, or things to do with your home and base of operations. The sign of Cancer is very much about feelings, and very empathetic. When you understand the essences of astrology, it helps you see things from a higher perspective of understanding. If you realize that something is being affected by external energies, it’s easier to get through them with less stress. When you know that it will pass, you can avoid getting hung up and internalizing it. Just like if you get caught in a rainstorm you didn’t know was coming, you won’t think that something’s wrong with you, because you got your clothes wet!
